Specific requirements and implications
A register of controllers is separate from membership and nominee registers; appearing in one does not automatically determine inclusion in another. The guide requires annual notices to recorded controllers and reasonable enquiries when information changes or appears inaccurate. Companies incorporated from 16 June 2025 provide controller information at incorporation. Subsequent central updates are due within two business days after the company's register is entered or updated, making internal record maintenance part of the filing workflow.
