What the document covers
The guide separates nominee directors' disclosure obligations, the company's register maintenance and central lodgment. Nominee status and nominator particulars are distinct information categories.
Specific requirements and implications
A nominee relationship can arise through informal arrangements as well as a contract. Companies update their own register within seven days of receiving changes and then update the central record within two business days of the internal entry. The central regime began in June 2025, with a transitional filing deadline for existing companies. Public disclosure identifies nominee status; access to full central particulars is reserved to public agencies for their statutory functions.
