What this covers
The amendments commenced on 16 June 2025. Relevant companies, foreign companies and LLPs must keep controller registers from incorporation or registration and conduct annual checks with registrable controllers. The previous registration grace period was removed.
How to use this guidance
The package also addresses nominee registers and disclosure of nominees and nominators to ACRA. Check exemptions, internal maintenance and central filing separately; maintaining an internal register does not complete all disclosure duties.
