Specific requirements and implications
From 1 April 2025, the minimum programme duration is reduced to half an hour. A standalone short course must achieve its own learning objectives. Where several modules together deliver the objective, credit is recorded only after all relevant modules are completed. Half-hour courses can supply no more than 45 of the 90 structured hours required over a rolling three-year period.
