Specific requirements and implications
The revised approach began on 3 March 2014 and used the 2013 ACRA taxonomy. Financial institutions identified in the direction and companies permitted to use other accounting standards had different filing arrangements. Guarantee companies and foreign-company branches were outside the full-XBRL change described here. BizFinx replaced the earlier preparation system. These are historical filing categories, so the direction is useful for understanding earlier submissions rather than selecting today's filing format.
