Privacy safeguards for alternate addresses
The speech extends alternate-address options to public accountants and specified LLP and LP officeholders. The address must permit physical contact and cannot merely be a post-office box. If an address is invalid, ACRA may restore the residential address in public records, and the individual may be barred from using an alternate address for three years under the proposed safeguards.
