For permanent residence applications submitted on or after 26 June 2024, sign in to MyICA to check status. Older applications use the applicable legacy enquiry route. Use the same case/account and follow any outstanding document or formalities request; starting another application is not a status enquiry.
Purpose and preparation
Use the PR service’s Enquire Application Status option with the original case/account. Match the foreign-student-under-15 and older-application routes where applicable.
Choose the correct operation
The enquiry retrieves the case result; it is not a new application or guarantee of approval. Complete all IPA conditions before treating PR as granted.
