Prepare for the destination and return
ICA’s general departure page states no general departure restrictions, but destination entry rules still apply. Check passports, destination visas and onward arrangements. PRs should check the REP before leaving. Returning to Singapore requires meeting the then-current entry requirements.
Clearance and declarations
Provide required biometrics at exit. Eligible land travellers may use MyICA QR clearance. Declare aggregate cash/bearer instruments exceeding S$20,000. Drivers of Singapore-registered vehicles must check the linked three-quarter-tank rule and its exceptions.
Planning example
An arrival declaration does not replace a departure cash declaration. For a visitor, ensure the departure date falls within the e-Pass stay limit; for a PR, treat the REP and destination visa as separate checks.
