Establishing the correct role
A registered officer has legal authority for the entity and appoints or approves its Corppass administrator. The administrator manages users and government-service access; a user transacts only within granted permissions. Even an administrator needs the relevant service assignment to submit commission records. The guide first registers the administrator, creates users where needed, and adds Submission of Commission Records to the organisation’s services before assigning the individual.
Staff, agents and correspondence
Third-party tax-agent authority is handled through the relevant Corppass assignment rather than sharing an employee’s credentials. The PDF also explains updating contact details in myTax Portal so that enquiries reach the appropriate person. Keep the submitting user’s authority and the organisation’s correspondence contact aligned, while recognising that these are separate settings. The illustrated screen sequence is a user guide; follow the current portal labels if the interface has changed.
