Filing criteria and statement thresholds
The page lists a total annual income above S$22,000, annual net self-employment profit above S$6,000, or non-resident Singapore-source income as filing criteria. Report under the trade, business, profession or vocation section. Revenue up to S$200,000 uses the two-line statement; above it uses four lines. Annual revenue of S$500,000 or more requires certified accounts signed as true and correct. Keep full business records for at least five years. The usual filing period is 1 March–18 April.
Partner allocations and other income
Self-employed partners include their profit or loss share and partnership salary, bonus, CPF and benefits. Check the allocation with the precedent partner. If Form P is e-filed by 28 February, allocations can be prefilled in individual returns from 1 March; partners still verify and submit their own returns. Report each partnership separately and include other taxable income in the appropriate sections. The page provides different field instructions for electronic Form B/B1 and paper forms.
