What the mandate covers
The form authorises both payment and refund of Corporate Tax. It estimates less than five minutes to complete and says setup takes place within 21 days. Mail the completed form to IRAS, 55 Newton Road, Revenue House, Singapore 307987. Countersign each amendment and do not use correction fluid or correction tape.
Taxpayer and contact particulars
Enter the company name and its tax reference number, identified as UEN or ASGD. Fields marked with a caret are required, including the contact number. The form also provides an email-address field.
Bank account and signature matching
Supply the bank name, account number and account-holder name exactly as in the bank records. Sign or apply the company stamp in the designated box as required by the bank’s recorded signing arrangement, and date the form. Part 2 is for IRAS and Part 3 is for the bank. The originating bank account printed in Part 2 is explicitly not an account for making transfers to IRAS.
Understand the debit authority and possible rejection
The bank may process IRAS debit and credit instructions. If funds are insufficient, it may reject a debit and charge a fee, or permit an overdraft and impose the associated charges. The mandate continues until terminated through the bank’s written notice or its receipt of revocation. Bank rejection reasons include a mismatched or unclear/incomplete signature or thumbprint, a wrong account number, an uncountersigned amendment or other stated account-signing issues; the officer records the reason.
