Choose the individual or business route
Individuals use Singpass or the appropriate SFA and do not need a Stamp Duty Account ID. Business users must register a corporate Stamp Duty account, with the correct Corppass role, to obtain an SDID. The account provides access to stamping records, notices and applications. Have document details and reference numbers ready. The directory covers leases, purchases and sales, mortgages, share transfers and trust documents, each with its relevant stamping function.
Payment and record access
The service lists payment methods including PayNow QR, AXS, GIRO and specified bank arrangements. Regular GIRO is not available for conveyance documents or tenancy duty exceeding S$5,000. Retrieve the Stamp Certificate after full payment and use the authenticity checker when verification is required. Access to another party’s stamping record can require approval; a document-access request expires after 14 days if not approved. Other functions cover amendments, refunds, assessments and relief applications. Selecting a function or saving a record does not itself discharge the stamp-duty liability.
