Business GIRO Plans: Viewing Details and Cancelling Arrangements

Business GIRO viewing shares an entry point, but Property Tax cancellation follows a separate edit-and-review route from Corporate Tax, GST and S45.

Source checked · 11 October 2026

View the selected tax plan

At the myTax Portal landing page, select Business Tax to log in. Under Account, choose View GIRO Plan, then View Plan for the relevant arrangement. Property Tax uses Proceed before displaying its plan. The August 2024 guide notes that the property-tax layout differs because IRAS was transitioning it to a new system. Check the displayed tax type and plan before making changes.

Corporate Tax, GST and S45 cancellation

The step list groups Corporate Tax, GST and S45 together for cancellation. Under Account > View GIRO Plan, select Cancel Plan for the intended arrangement. Read the popup: Continue proceeds with the cancellation, while Cancel stops that request. Then select Submit. Successful cancellation ends on an acknowledgement page; opening the popup alone does not complete it.

Property Tax uses a separate path

For Property Tax, select Proceed and VIEW for the selected property-tax account. Choose EDIT under GIRO Plan Option or Bank Account. In the Edit GIRO Plan popup, follow the cancelling the GIRO arrangement link. On the Cancel GIRO Plan review page, check the declaration and select Cancel Plan. A successful request produces an acknowledgement page. The EDIT control is therefore an entry point, not itself a cancellation confirmation.

Scope of the guide

The opening describes viewing/cancelling Corporate Tax, Property Tax or GST plans, while the cancellation step index additionally includes S45. This article preserves that distinction rather than assuming every tax has identical screens. The source explains portal steps and confirmation, not replacement payment arrangements or whether an outstanding bill is discharged; cancelling a debit plan should not be read as cancelling the underlying tax.
