Tax Agent Access for Individual Clients: Services and Switching Profiles

Tax agents enter an individual client’s portal through a dedicated login and switch-client link; the service list includes a specific post-refresh mail-access limit.

Source checked · 11 October 2026 · Document date: 23 Jul 2025

Login for an individual client

Choose Tax Agent Login > Individual Client at myTax Portal, authenticate with Singpass, enter the individual client’s tax reference and select PROCEED. The header identifies the agent and the client represented. This 23 July 2025 guide is a login/service-access guide, not the client’s authorisation form.

Filing and requested-information services

The list covers filing the individual return, checking employer employment-income submission status, amending the tax bill, transferring/viewing PTR and applying for filing extensions. It also lists updating dependants’ particulars under requested information. Access to these services should not be confused with meeting the underlying tax rules or deadlines.

Inbox, profile and account services

Agents can view individual notices/letters and use myTax Mail mailbox/compose functions. The note limits access to myTax Mail messages sent by clients after the portal refresh. Profile includes updating contact/notification preferences; account includes paying tax, penalty-waiver appeals, account summary and GIRO plan. Preserve the mail limitation rather than promising every old client message is visible.

Switch the client profile

Choose SWITCH CLIENT in the header, enter the next individual’s tax reference and PROCEED to their Overview page. Check the represented-client header before filing, viewing records or composing mail so that an action is attached to the intended client.
