Stamp Certificate Format: July 2010 to April 2012

The 2010–2012 historical stamp-certificate sample identifies document, transaction parties, purchase price and stamp duty in a one-page sale illustration.

Source checked · 11 October 2026 Historical document

Historical certificate format

The PDF heading specifies certificates issued between 27 July 2010 and 3 April 2012, both inclusive. It is marked SAMPLE and Original Certificate of Stamp Duty. Its example issue date is 19 January 2012, within that stated period. The format is historical, rather than a description of every certificate currently issued.

Document identification

The certificate reference and issue date appear first. Applicant reference, document reference and version, document description and document date follow. The example is an ad valorem sale and purchase agreement dated 12 January 2012, distinguishing contract date from the later certificate issue date.

Transaction and duty fields

The sample records purchase price S$900,000, property address, vendor/transferor/assignor and purchaser/transferee/assignee. Both stamp duty and total amount are S$21,600. The page gives no current tax-rate schedule or calculation method; the illustrated figures should not be applied as a present quotation for another transaction.

Footer and use of the specimen

The lower block repeats certificate and document identifiers, issue-related information, a further verification-style reference string and page 1 of 1. Together these show where to locate and compare records. Because the source is only a marked specimen, it is not evidence that a reader’s transaction has been stamped or that a copied certificate is authentic.
