Cost, processing and starting work
The employer or appointed EA applies free of charge. Processing is one week, with some cases taking longer. Selected professions need additional documents. Work starts only after the employer receives LOC.
Submission
Obtain the candidate’s written consent, then complete the application and upload documents through EP eService in myMOM. Update the organisation’s preceding three years of turnover before submission.
Check status after one week. If pending, look for a document-request email. Select the record under Work Passes, then Submit documents or View details for the action required. Further information may extend processing; approval is emailed.
