How to search
Use the Check work pass and application status service with date of birth and FIN or passport/travel-document number. New applicants without FIN may use passport details or obtain the FIN from the employer/EA’s IPA letter. The service covers all MOM-issued work and long-term passes, including DP, LTVP, TEP, LOC, EntrePass and Work Permit, and can show a current pass and a new-employer application together. It replaces former WPOL enquiry and Check Work Pass Status functions.
Record limits and multiple matches
Applications from the last six months can be viewed. Passes/applications cancelled or expired more than six months ago are not displayed. If a passport number maps to multiple FINs, use the unique FIN shown on the IPA; ask the employer or EA if necessary. Latest pass validity can also be viewed through the holder’s SGWorkPass digital pass.
Salary details and errors
Salary information in this enquiry is for Work Permit holders only; enter the Date of Application from the IPA. Existing WP holders can check current salary in SGWorkPass. If salary or occupation differs from the offer, contact the employer/EA before travelling and reject the offer if you disagree. For incorrect occupation, salary or employer name, ask the employer/EA to correct MOM records or contact MOM. New applicants should resolve errors before leaving home.
Other users and downloadable evidence
Landlords, their property agents and commercial service providers may also check pass status. Additional employment information is available by scanning the digital/physical QR code with SGWorkPass. Results can be saved as PDF and printed with the enquiry timestamp. The portal offers English, Bengali, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.
