Extend before the existing end date
You may apply to extend a notification before the activity end date stated in the original notification. If that date has already passed, submit a new notification instead of extending the expired one.
Annual limit and immigration validity
The combined activity period must not exceed 90 days in a calendar year; separate periods count cumulatively. The Short-Term Visit Pass must remain valid throughout the requested extension period. Extending a MOM notification does not extend immigration permission to stay.
Apply and retain evidence
Use MOM’s notification-extension service to apply. Print the acknowledgement letter so that it can be produced if required. The original notification, annual activity limit and valid stay conditions should all be checked before submitting the request.
