Who it serves and who applies
EntrePass enables eligible foreign entrepreneurs to start and operate a venture-backed or innovative-technology business in Singapore. Candidates apply directly. There is no stipulated minimum salary and no foreign-worker levy or quota. The right to start a business is governed by the pass conditions and does not eliminate separate business approvals.
Duration, renewal and family
A new pass and its first renewal last up to one year. Subsequent renewals last up to two years, subject to the renewal requirements. Eligible family members can apply for separate passes. Enterprise Singapore works with MOM in assessment and may contact holders for engagement and audits. The Conditions of Work Pass and Employment of Foreign Manpower Act apply.
Startup and relocation resources
Startup SG’s resource guide introduces startup associations and providers including legal, banking and incorporation services. Singapore Global Network provides relocation and opportunity information. These resources help with practical planning; they are distinct from eligibility approval.
Before and after arrival
Check requirements and documents, apply and wait for approval. Obtain the IPA and comply with entry requirements. After arrival, issue the pass, follow the notification letter on fingerprints and photo registration, and receive the card about five working days after registration or document verification.
Ongoing holder responsibilities
Update MOM on changed employment or personal information, replace a lost, stolen or damaged card, cancel when the pass is no longer required, and renew before expiry. Renewal is not automatic merely because the original business was approved.
