Who applies and how long it lasts
The main ONE Pass holder may apply directly; appointed EAs and employers may apply for the main holder. LTVP lasts until the ONE Pass expiry or the requested end date, whichever is earlier. It is renewable subject to successful ONE Pass renewal. No foreign-worker levy or quota applies to the family pass.
Who can work
For DP, a spouse needs LOC to work; unmarried children need a work pass. For LTVP, a common-law spouse can work with LOC, while other holders need a work pass. The family stay pass is not by itself permission to start employment.
Before, during and after application
Check eligibility and documents before applying. Apply before arrival, wait for approval/IPA and meet current travel requirements. After arrival, issue the pass and read the notification letter for registration requirements. If required, book fingerprints/photo registration. The card reaches the nominated address five working days after registration or document verification. Later report personal changes, replace lost/stolen/damaged cards and cancel when no longer needed.
