Purpose and applicant
The pass is intended for eligible foreigners carrying out short-term assignments, such as seminar speakers, religious workers and journalists. An employer or local sponsor applies for the pass on the candidate’s behalf.
Validity and related arrangements
The maximum duration is 60 days. The pass cannot be renewed and does not provide passes for family members. Employers do not have to meet a foreign-worker quota or pay a foreign-worker levy for this pass. The relevant legal references are the Conditions of Work Pass and the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.

Before applying, check the eligibility requirements and prepare the required documents. Submit the application and await the outcome before arrival, and comply with the applicable travel requirements. If approved event details change, MOM must be notified at least one month in advance.
