Pass features
The employer or appointed EA applies for a Malaysian confinement nanny; both parties must qualify. No minimum salary applies, but income is taxable under IRAS rules. Validity is up to sixteen weeks from birth, with no renewal or family passes. Monthly levy and medical insurance apply.
Relevant legislation includes Conditions of Work Pass and the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.
Process
Check eligibility, apply and await approval before arrival, obtain IPA and satisfy travel requirements. Extend the nanny’s stay where necessary and cancel when employment ends.
