Purpose and application
PLOC is for spouses and unmarried children below 21 of Singapore citizens or permanent residents who qualify for ICA LTVP/LTVP+ and wish to work. It does not permit self-employment.
Eligible foreigners can opt for PLOC when applying for or renewing their ICA LTVP/LTVP+, and request another when renewing the residence pass.
Quota, legislation and occupation restrictions
No foreign-worker levy or quota applies. Relevant legislation includes Conditions of Work Pass and the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. Employment notifications and occupation restrictions still apply.
