Supporting Migrant Worker Friends: Recognise, Listen and Link to Help

MOM’s poster identifies workers who may need more support, warning signs and practical ways for friends to respond.

Source reviewed: 2026-10-12

Who may need more support

The poster highlights workers who are feeling unwell, new to a company or dormitory, or new to Singapore for less than two years. These situations invite additional care and attention; they are not diagnoses.

Changes friends can notice

Look out for someone appearing sad or stressed, staying outside alone, behaving differently from usual, or frequently missing work. The poster presents these as signs that someone may need help, rather than proof of a particular condition.

Look, listen and connect

The three actions are to look out for warning signs, listen and show support, and link the person to further help. The poster also promotes “We Care!” WhatsApp stickers as a simple way to let friends know that someone cares.

The support channels printed on the poster

It lists contacting MOM through FWMOMCare, HealthServe at 3129 5000 for counselling and health advice, and the Migrant Workers’ Centre at 6536 2692 for employment matters. The attached original preserves the We Care sticker QR code and all language versions.
