Updated worker and technician module requirements start in February 2021. Staff already trained for their current role under previous requirements are not affected.
Context and follow-up
Skills and wage points for the specialist track were still to be developed with the tripartite cluster. Later announcements set role and wage details. The proposal encourages upskilling without requiring previously qualified staff to repeat unchanged training automatically.
