Converting a Business to an LLP

All existing partners of a partnership, or shareholders of a company, must become LLP partners under the applicable statutory conditions. The original entity is dissolved and the LLP receives a new UEN. Property transfers and contracts continue, but approvals, permits and licences require arrangements with the issuing authorities before applying. Apply for a new business name first; ACRA lists a S$40 conversion fee through General lodgement.
