V39Q supplements the existing V39S undertaking for a Student’s Pass applicant.
Information and procedure
The following separates the document’s main parts and applicable requirements.

| Welfare | Provide reasonable housing and maintenance while in Singapore |
| Indemnity | Indemnify government/statutory bodies for costs resulting from failure of sponsorship duties |
| Signing route | Individual signature/NRIC or school representative name/signature/designation and official stamp |
Completion and follow-up
The sponsor’s identity card must be produced at the application/submission as stated. This adds responsibility rather than replacing V39S.
