The directory directs architects to House and Unit Numbers. Assigned numbers combine with the street name to identify a property uniquely. Use the official application process rather than independently assigning an address for tax or other government records.
Demolition and reconstruction
Architects and consultants overseeing works should advise owners about notifying IRAS and providing the required property information. The linked reconstruction guide explains the event-specific process. Appointment of a professional does not remove the owner’s reporting obligation.
