Login and entity profile
At Corppass choose existing-account login, authenticate as Business User through Singpass QR, and select the entity if holding several accounts. On mobile tap the QR. Choose I am the only user or My entity has users on the entity profile. The latter leads to Create User Accounts. These instructions are the October 2024 edition.
Identity and activation
Select identity type. NRIC/FIN entry requires the number and corporate email; name and issuing country/region populate automatically. Foreign-ID entry requires name, ID number, issuing country consistent with identity evidence and corporate email. An activation email is sent. Add further users if needed, continue, review and submit; foreign-ID creation also requires Terms of Use acceptance. A confirmation shows creation, which is separate from user activation.
Account types and service access
Admins create Sub-Admins, Enquiry Users and Users. Users transact for the entity; Enquiry Users also view/search others but cannot manage users or assign access. Sub-Admins create/manage Users and Enquiry Users and assign services, but cannot create another Sub-Admin. Select all-service access if appropriate, otherwise assign separately; the all-service option is not applicable to restricted Sub-Admins. Creating an identity alone does not establish every service permission.
Profile maintenance
Under Users choose Manage Users or Manage User Accounts. Open a user name and update registered email or mobile number, save and check confirmation. Account-type changes also use the profile; Sub-Admins may change only Enquiry User and User account types. Changes should follow the operator’s role boundaries.
Status changes and dates
Select users needing a status change; batch edits require all selected users to share the same current status. Choose Change user status, the new status, effective date, optional expiry and reason, then save and check confirmation. Leaving expiry blank keeps the status indefinitely. Active means ready for use, Inactive not yet activated, Suspended temporarily disabled, and Terminated permanently disabled.
Dormancy thresholds and source wording
The suspension description gives inactivity limits of three years plus 21 days for local entities and one year plus 21 days for foreign entities. The Terminated paragraph gives four years plus 21 days and one year plus six months respectively, but actually repeats the word suspended in that paragraph. This inconsistency is visible in the source itself: retain the distinction between temporary and permanent status and do not treat the paragraph as an unambiguous current automatic-termination rule.
