Onboarding and payload updates
The specification dated 1 October 2026 describes Corppass prerequisites, APEX authentication and sandbox approval before production. Version 1.4 updates the record identifier parameter and donor-identifier description and removes sample code. Earlier changes make specified response codes strings, which matters when validating a client implementation. Request records follow the documented case-sensitive field names, permitted characters and mandatory properties.
Amendment behaviour and acknowledgements
No request is partly processed: all records must pass validation for successful submission. An amendment overwrites the matching donation record with the corrected amount; it is not the commission API’s difference-only adjustment. The validateOnly flag permits checks without submission, while a successful live submission provides acknowledgement information. Reconcile that response with record counts and donation totals. The production interface is for the authorised service purpose, and the specification expressly excludes using it as a test environment.
