Access and Form P filing
Partners, staff or tax agents must first have the appropriate Corppass authorisation. Prepare the partnership UEN or entity ID, accounts and partner particulars needed to allocate profit or loss. IRAS states that Form P e-Filing is compulsory from YA 2027; partnerships with more than ten partners must use the Partnership Allocation Template from that YA. These are future assessment-year requirements as at October 2026. The portal also provides extension and penalty-waiver requests, notices, contact updates and secure correspondence.
Separate EIS applications from return filing
EIS functions include applying for cash payout, submitting enhanced deduction or allowance records, checking application status and viewing notices. Prepare qualifying expenditure and revenue information; R&D or instalment-based IPR claims may require additional forms. The cash-payout application status becomes available the day after submission, while most applications are estimated to take three months. A successful upload or a visible application status does not itself mean that the underlying expenditure qualifies or that a payout has been approved.
