Contact and address changes
Use “Update Contact & Notice Preferences” for email, mobile number and notice preferences. Citizens and permanent residents update residential addresses through ICA; IRAS states that the update reaches its records by the next working day. A different mailing address can be updated in myTax Portal. Foreigners can update residential and mailing addresses there directly.
Name and other particulars
Citizens and permanent residents update names with ICA. Foreigners send IRAS supporting evidence through myTax Portal, such as a deed poll, employment pass or another official document bearing the new name. Other personal particulars require the relevant documents through the portal or assistance through online chat.
