Individual Property Owners: Notification Selection and Consolidation

Individual property owners can select non-main-recipient properties and consolidate digital alerts from the next January billing round.

Source checked · 11 October 2026 · Document date: 12 Aug 2024

Contact, channel and mailing address

The 12 August 2024 guide uses Personal Tax login > Profile > Update Contact & Notification Preferences. Edit contact details, choose SMS, email or both, and update the mailing address for all tax types. IRAS sends property notices to that updated address; other arrangements require myTax Mail. Digital notifications tell you a notice is available to view; they are distinct from the underlying notice.

Select additional properties

The main recipient receives notifications by default. If not main recipient, Customise by Taxes > View/Edit Property List lets you tick desired properties and Select. Tick the declaration and Save Changes so selected properties follow your chosen channel. Selection does not change ownership or tax account balances.

Consolidated alerts and timing

For more than one property and SMS/email/both preferences, tick or untick the option for consolidated notifications for all properties, then declaration and Save Changes. Consolidation changes take effect at the next January billing round; they are not an immediate merger of every existing notice. Source enquiries use go.gov.sg/iraschat-login Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm excluding public holidays or 1800 356 8300.
