Scope and new application
Published 10 February 2026, eGIRO covers corporate, GST, property, S45 for DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB, Bank of China, Maybank, MariBank, ICBC. Reactivation covers corporate/GST/property. Business Tax login > Account > Apply/Manage GIRO Plan > Apply New GIRO, choose bank and tax accounts. Property monthly/one-time yearly options and development grouping apply. Review contacts/selection, read/tick declaration, Continue to bank corporate internet banking and complete bank-directed setup.
Bank approval is separate
Return to IRAS acknowledgement after bank application; UOB/BOC/Maybank require a return button. Tell company bank approver to approve within 48 hours or lapse, outside source maintenance Wed 2–6 am/Sun 2–8.30 am. Once bank approval reaches IRAS, outstanding-tax plan is in Account > View GIRO Plan and setup notification arrives within five working days. Portal acknowledgement alone is not bank approval.
Corporate/GST reactivation
Re-activate GIRO selects tax/bank, Proceed, optional Edit Plan. Monthly duration+/- changes months; Update or Cancel. Proceed, confirm and Submit; acknowledgement shows status/plan, viewable next working day. Do not assume S45 is included in this reactivation path just because new eGIRO supports it.
Property reactivation and active edits
Re-activate > Proceed > bank Select chooses property accounts, monthly/yearly and monthly instalment duration, Continue review. If bank cannot reactivate, declaration appears and new-bank application steps apply; otherwise successful acknowledgement/next-workday plan. For active plans Account > View GIRO Plan > Proceed/View, if more than three properties View Summary, development View Properties, then property View. EDIT > Edit Plan returns option/duration screen; Edit Bank Account returns bank selection with relevant review/approval steps.
