Which clients the agent route accepts
This four-page guide permits tax agents to apply for Enterprise Innovation Scheme cash payouts for company and partnership clients. It expressly excludes individual clients from that tax-agent route. An individual must use their own Singpass login to apply, even where a tax agent otherwise handles their tax affairs.
Open the authorised service
Start at myTax Portal and choose tax-agent login for a business client. In the main menu, open the additional-services area and select the EIS cash-payout application. The guide says the application option appears only when the agent is authorised to act for that company or partnership. A missing option therefore calls for an authorisation check, rather than an assumption that the business has no EIS expenditure.
Identify the client and continue the application
Select the appropriate client-reference-number type, enter the client’s tax reference and continue. This PDF ends at the client-selection stage and refers users to the separate cash-payout application guide for completing the substantive claim. It establishes access and routing; it does not set out expenditure eligibility, conversion amounts or an approval promise.
