Scope and eligibility

General cleaning businesses, including businesses supplying cleaners to other cleaning businesses, need NEA licensing before providing services. New applicants need not already have a cleaning contract but must provide a suitably trained or experienced employee's details.

Register the business
use the new-application or renewal checklist as appropriate
prepare employee qualification/experience records and renewal contract evidence where required
apply, respond to NEA and pay the applicable fee.

Attachment filenames must be no longer than 130 characters and use letters, digits, underscores or hyphens. Spaces are converted to underscores. Check the accepted file formats and size for each upload field in the official application.
