Scope and eligibility
Businesses collecting or transporting general waste for remuneration, or used cooking oil from food premises, need this NEA licence. Suitable vehicles and equipment must be used for the waste and disposal destination.
Application steps
- Confirm the waste activities and vehicle/equipment suitability
- prepare business, vehicle and crew-training records
- apply under the registered business and complete NEA's assessment before the licensed activity.
Documents to prepare
- ACRA profile
- vehicle log cards
- photographs of vehicles and equipment labelled with company name/contact details
- driver/crew WSQ certificates.
Attachment filenames must be no longer than 130 characters and use letters, digits, underscores or hyphens. Spaces are converted to underscores. Check the accepted file formats and size for each upload field in the official application.
