When an appeal is appropriate
Read the rejection advisory and recommended next steps in EP eService, or the rejection letter for a manual application. Appeal only where the issues can be addressed.
An appeal without new information will not change the outcome. Submit within three months of rejection; after that period, a new application is required.
Who may appeal or enquire
Only the main holder’s employer or the authorised third party that submitted the application may enquire or appeal. MOM does not entertain those approaches from the applicant or other people.
Submission, further documents and results
Submit through EP eService, then use it to check status and print the outcome letter. Allow at least three weeks, with some cases taking longer.
MOM does not discuss appeals in person because of the volume. If an email requests further evidence, submit it through the specified online form.
