Who applies and who issues
Submit a separate application for each dependant, alongside the main pass application or later. The dependant need not be in Singapore when applying and should travel only after approval.
MOM will not extend a visit pass while an LTVP application or issuance is pending. Apply separately for each relative and obtain approval before bringing them to Singapore.

| EP or S Pass | Employer or employment agent | Employer or employment agent |
| PEP or EntrePass | Main pass holder | Main pass holder |

Process from application to card
An approval is not an issued pass. Complete arrival, issuance and any registration required by the notification letter.
| Step | Result |
|---|---|
| Submit the application | IPA or rejection |
| Travel in accordance with entry requirements | Applicant is in Singapore |
| Issue the pass | Notification letter |
| Register fingerprints and photograph if required | Card-delivery acknowledgement |
| Set up SGWorkPass | Digital LTVP |
| Receive or collect the card | Physical card |
Applications for EP or S Pass dependants
Prepare the documents, apply through EP eService in myMOM and update the organisation’s turnover for the preceding three years. Pay S$105 by GIRO, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Check the status after three weeks. If additional documents are needed, MOM emails within three weeks. Select the record under Work Passes and use Submit documents or View details, or submit through the online form indicated in the email.
Print the holder’s IPA copy after approval. It is a pre-approved single-entry visa: EP dependants have six months to enter and obtain issuance, while S Pass dependants have two months.
Applications for PEP and EntrePass dependants
The main holder submits the relevant online application and pays S$105 by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Check the application status after one week; this is not a one-week decision commitment. Reply directly to MOM’s email if further information is requested. Processing may exceed eight weeks. The outcome is emailed, and an approved IPA allows six months for entry and issuance.
Applications for EP (Sponsorship) dependants
The page’s overview groups sponsorship dependants with PEP and EntrePass at eight weeks for most cases, while its sponsorship-specific instructions state six weeks. Both statements are retained here; check with MOM when case-specific timing matters.
The local sponsor downloads the LTVP application form, prepares the signed soft copy and supporting documents, and submits using the relevant online form with Corppass. Pay S$105 by PayNow, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Check the status after one week. Reply directly to requests for additional information; processing may exceed six weeks. The outcome is emailed. Print the holder’s approved IPA, which is a pre-approved single-entry visa.
Arrival and issuance deadlines
The applicant must satisfy prevailing entry requirements and be in Singapore when the pass is issued. Issue an EP dependant’s pass within the six-month IPA period, or an S Pass dependant’s within two months.
Provide the required information through EP eService and pay S$225, plus S$30 for a Multiple Journey Visa where applicable. GIRO, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. Issuance is immediate.
The holder and submitting party receive the notification letter by email. It permits travel while awaiting the card, states whether fingerprint and photograph registration is needed, and is valid for one month. Request an extension through the relevant EP/S Pass route if more registration time is needed.
Issuance particulars and uploads
Prepare the particulars and uploads below. Up to three authorised recipients may be nominated for card delivery.
| Category | Required information |
|---|---|
| Personal and immigration details | Passport particulars, Singapore contact details and current STVP or other immigration pass details |
| Addresses | Singapore residential address and residential or office delivery address |
| Authorised recipients | Up to three people, with mobile number and NRIC, FIN or passport number |
| Uploads | Passport arrival page; medical examination form or medical declaration; IPA declaration form |
STVP extension while awaiting medical results
If medical results are pending, request an STVP extension seven to fourteen days before expiry and upload a doctor’s letter stating the results-collection date.
MOM’s example is an STVP expiring on 17 February: apply between 4 and 10 February. A late request may lead to an overstay fine.
Fingerprint and photograph registration
Register only if the notification letter requires it. Make an appointment and bring the original passport, appointment letter, notification letter and a phone with a local number and Singpass and SGWorkPass installed. Fingerprints and a photograph are registered, along with Singpass.
| Category | Location | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| EP dependants | Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) | Within two weeks |
| S Pass dependants | MOM Services Centre (MOMSC), Hall C | Within one week |
Digital Long-Term Visit Pass
On the registration day, download SGWorkPass and sign in with Singpass to view the digital LTVP, status and expiry and access services before the physical card arrives.
Holders who do not need a centre visit should also set up their digital pass without waiting for the physical card.
Card delivery and identity checks
Delivery is within five working days after registration and document verification, or after document verification alone if registration is unnecessary. Authorised recipients receive an SMS and email at least one working day before delivery.
The holder shows a passport or digital pass. An authorised recipient shows their own NRIC, FIN or passport. If the card has not arrived after five working days, check that the correct documents were submitted.
Collection after two unsuccessful deliveries
Collect three working days after the second failed delivery without an appointment: EP dependants use EPSC and S Pass dependants use MOMSC Hall C.
The holder brings the original passport or digital pass and notification letter. A representative brings the employer’s authorisation letter, their own NRIC or passport, the holder’s original passport and notification letter.
