Two alternative grounds
MOM allows an advertising exemption if the companies are undergoing merger/acquisition, amalgamation or corporate restructuring, or if common shareholders own at least 50% of both companies. These are alternative grounds for a transfer from a related Singapore branch, subsidiary or affiliate; the FAQ does not give an unrestricted exemption to every related-company move.
