Historical policy record
This article explains the CPF Advisory Panel’s 2015/2016 document. Amounts, account arrangements, projections and recommendations below belong to that publication, not current CPF entitlements, interest quotations or an investment offer. Check current CPF Board rules for an individual decision.
Recommendations accepted
Minister Lim Swee Say accepted Part Two for the government, recognising the complex task and consultation with Singaporeans and financial experts. The reply agrees with an escalating CPF LIFE plan, review of CPFIS and an additional Lifetime Retirement Investment Scheme to address rising living costs and the desire for higher expected returns with risk.
Implementation and understanding
The government stated it would work on implementation and proactively promote understanding so members could make informed choices. This is a record of policy acceptance; specific operating terms, launches and later changes need separate confirmation. Expected investment return is not a guaranteed payment.
