Plan clear objectives with the crisis team, select plausible scenarios such as armed attacks, suspicious devices or unauthorised digital access, and ensure participants know reporting and activation procedures.
Run a neutral, constructive discussion within a set time, establish the scenario and record observations. Use suitably sized groups; online breakout rooms are an option. Afterwards, debrief participants and compare intended with actual outcomes in an after-action review, then assign improvements.
