All conditions must be met
Fill a specified tech occupation on the COMPASS SOL, pass COMPASS and score at least 10 under C3 diversity, and meet the specialised fixed monthly salary. The longer term offers certainty while Singapore develops its local capability pipeline, but is not automatic for every technology employee.
Special salary and effective dates
The current special threshold starts at S$10,700 for age 36 or below and rises with age to S$14,270 at 45 or above; it applies to new applications from 1 January 2025 and renewals expiring from 1 January 2026. The next threshold is S$11,500 to S$15,499 for the same endpoint ages, for new applications from 1 January 2027 and renewals expiring from 1 January 2028. These are five-year route salaries, not ordinary EP minimums.
Requesting the longer duration
In the EP application select the relevant tech occupation and a duration up to five years. Meet all stated criteria and additional verification checks. Selecting a duration does not replace the checks or guarantee a five-year grant.
