Candidates and applications
The ONE Pass covers top talent in business, arts and culture, sport, academia and research, with the announced AI and Tech route opening on 28 January 2027. Eligible candidates can apply, as can appointed employment agencies and employers on their behalf. Only one work-pass application per candidate may be submitted at a time; an EP and ONE Pass application cannot run concurrently.
Headline criteria and detailed assessment
The salary route is at least S$30,000 fixed monthly salary, or foreign-currency equivalent, for the preceding 12 consecutive months, or a future Singapore salary of at least S$30,000. Outstanding achievements in specified sectors can provide a non-salary route. The eligibility page sets further employment and established-company conditions, so the key-facts salary is not the entire test. Experienced founders may also explore EDB’s Global Founder Programme for manpower, visa, capital and connection support.
Flexibility and family
Holders may concurrently start, operate and work for several companies, subject to relevant employment contracts. They do not need a new pass when changing jobs and are exempt from COMPASS and FCF advertising. Eligible family members can join; spouses can apply for a Letter of Consent to work. No foreign-worker quota or levy applies, but income tax may.
Duration and arrival sequence
Initial and subsequent renewed passes can each last up to five years, subject to renewal criteria. Before arrival, verify requirements and documents, apply and obtain the IPA. After arrival, issue the pass, complete any notification-letter registration requirements, and receive the card about five working days after registration or document verification.
Ongoing duties and networking
The overview asks holders to notify MOM of professional activities and annual income by 31 January of the following year. Follow the annual-notification exercise instructions, update personal and residential details, replace missing or damaged cards and cancel when no longer required. Singapore Global Network offers connections with its professional and entrepreneurial community; access to that network does not replace pass conditions.
