When to declare

The ICA-linked NP727 guide covers physical cash and bearer negotiable instruments exceeding S$20,000 or foreign-currency equivalent. It explains submission, retrieval and voiding; the guide itself is not the prescribed declaration form.

Personal and travel particulars

Choose entry or departure; enter transport, country, date/time, passport name, occupation, NRIC/FIN/passport identity and permanent address. Add a Singapore address when applicable; the guide allows not-applicable for day trips or transit without accommodation.

Amounts, sources and recipients

Add each CBNI’s type, currency, amount, ownership and movement purpose. Up to 20 CBNIs can be added. A non-owner must identify at least one source and one recipient; the source/recipient total can be up to 20. Each entity is a person or business with name/address. For example, money carried for a company requires the relevant source/recipient details rather than a personal-ownership assertion.

Review and proof

Edit/delete entries from the summary, preview all particulars, confirm the email and submit. Save the successful acknowledgement, such as a printout or screenshot, for checkpoint proof if required.

Retrieve and void

Retrieve using report number, original email and matching identity type/number. A mismatch returns no matching report. Void and confirm if travel dates, amounts or other details change: voiding invalidates the report immediately, so submit a new declaration if the traveller still carries more than the threshold. A previous declaration should be voided before a replacement.
