Prepare and file partnership information
The precedent partner submits Form P, including where a notified partnership has not started business or made a loss. Electronic filing is available from 1 February and due on 18 April; the page states that e-filing becomes compulsory from YA 2027. Filing by 28 February allows partner allocations to be prefilled. From YA 2022, revenue up to S$200,000 uses two lines and higher revenue four; earlier partnership years used four lines regardless of revenue.
Calculate allocations and review the notice
Divisible profit is adjusted profit or loss less the listed partner remuneration, CPF, interest on capital and expenses paid for partners. Each partner’s allocation includes the relevant remuneration and profit share, even if profits stay in the business. Partnership property rent follows the agreed allocation and accounts. Allocation objections go through the precedent partner within 30 days of the notice. Maintain supporting records and review withholding tax on specified non-resident payments separately.
