Reporting Taxi and Private-Hire Driver Income: Intermediary Submission

Intermediaries use a dedicated IRAS service to submit self-employed driver income records. Prepare the prescribed data file and retain the submission outcome.

Source checked · 11 October 2026

Prepare and submit driver records

The service covers income information for taxi drivers and private-hire car drivers. The submitting organisation needs its tax reference number and Singpass access. IRAS specifies an Excel .xlsx data file with up to 2,000 records per submission, and supplies an official template and user guide. Use that template’s fields and validations rather than an independently designed spreadsheet. The directory estimates processing within five working days; offline error correction time is excluded from its upload estimate.

Read the dated enhancement notice correctly

The page retains a service-unavailability notice for 6 August–6 October 2025, with reopening stated as 8 am on 6 October. Those dates are historical as at October 2026 and do not establish a present outage. The portal-enhancement page explains that private-hire operators report total gross driving income under the revised process. Before sending current-year data, check the live service and current template for any subsequent changes.
