Notification and start of duties
An entity meeting the operator definition must notify MOM within 14 days. Its duties begin on 1 January 2025 or the day it becomes an operator, whichever is later, rather than the notification date. An operator that later ceases to qualify must notify cessation. Assess the Act and the self-assessment checklist; the checklist is a help resource, not a conclusive determination.
Choose the correct notification service
Separate forms cover Singapore UEN-registered operators and individuals/foreign-based entities, both for starting and ceasing. Workers choosing higher CPF contributions must not use these operator forms. Voluntary notifications before 1 January 2025 need not be repeated. The directory retains the notified-operator list and references to the Platform Workers, WICA and CPF Acts.
