Eligibility and automatic assessment
Silver Support assists Singaporeans aged 65 or above with lower lifetime earnings and retirement resources. Assessment is automatic and annual; no application is required. The scheme was enhanced from 2025. All the specified CPF/earnings, housing and household-income tests must be satisfied.

Quarterly payment amounts
Flat size and household income determine the quarterly amount. Five-room residence is allowed only if the flat is not owned by the senior or spouse.

ComCare LTA and payment dates
ComCare Long-Term Assistance recipients aged 65 or above receive S$430 per quarter regardless of flat type, alongside LTA’s living-expense, public-healthcare and subsidised-social-service help. Eligible seniors receive a December notification for the following year and start in the quarter they turn 65.

Receiving payment and assistance
Payment goes first to a PayNow-NRIC linked account; otherwise to a previously supplied DBS/POSB, OCBC or UOB account, or through GovCash if neither is available. Check eligibility/payment details or contact CPF Board. The Silver Support hotline is 1800 227 1188, weekdays 8:30am–5:30pm and the eves of New Year, Chinese New Year and Christmas 8:30am–1pm; mobile airtime charges can apply. Social Service Offices offer help with financial difficulty.
