Purpose and four priorities
SkillsFuture supports lifelong development regardless of starting qualifications. Education, training and workplace learning help people adapt to technology, competition and higher-skill jobs. Its four priorities are informed education/training/career choices; an integrated quality system responsive to industry; skills-based recognition and progression; and a culture valuing lifelong learning.
Official programmes and historical context
MOM’s introduction describes the original tripartite SkillsFuture Council and education/training collaboration. Those leadership references belong to the historical launch context, not a claim about present officeholders. Continuing-education courses under WSQ support skills and employability; consult the current SkillsFuture website linked below for available programmes.
